The idea of the The Contagious Confidence Conference for Women™ grew out of a conversation between Monica and her book coach. It was a lively discussion that had strayed off topic and the book coach, Greg Godek, the author of 1001 Ways to be Romantic, mentioned that it was one thing to be romantic and yet another to know what to do when the romance faded. He also mentioned that several readers had asked him for relationship advice, or said that finances were causing a lack of romanticism and that all too often the real issue was the confidence of either person in a relationship. Both Monica and Greg had been working on Contagious Leadership, Monica's first book, and both liked the concept of Contagious (and had attached this word to just about everything), yet when Monica mentioned "how about we use Contagious Confidence™ and make it into a conference instead of my next book. In fact, what if we call it the Contagious Confidence™ Conference for Women?" they had no idea what was about to happen. |

That conversation took place in 2001 and since then Monica Wofford has published three books and trained over 515 different classes in all 50 states and 4 countries. The idea of Contagious Confidence™Conferences for Women has grown and materialized into more than we ever thought possible. The community of women who are asking for more information and asking for us to bring it to their city or state is amazing and powerful! Though the idea grew from a simple conversation, the concept has grown far more than we may have imagined possible. Women like having more confidence and we like helping them find it and give it to others, thus the contagious phrase.
